云南大学中国西南天文研究所组织所内研究生赴云南天文台丽江观测站实习

SWIFAR Students Visit Lijiang Observatory

        为增强学生对天文观测的认知，2021年4月17-18日，云南大学中国西南天文研究所组织所内研究生赴云南天文台丽江观测站实习。

        云南天文台丽江观测站位于云南省丽江市玉龙县太安乡高美古，距离丽江市区40公里，海拔3200米，具有纬度低、海拔高、天气晴朗、大气视宁度好、天空背景好等良好的天文观测条件，是我国南方重要的天文观测基地。云南大学1.6米多通道测光巡天望远镜和50公分测光望远镜阵列就设置于丽江观测站内。

 

         4月17日下午，同学们首先参观了丽江观测站各个望远镜设备。随后云南大学中国西南天文研究所刘项琨老师为同学们详细介绍了云南大学50公分测光望远镜阵列以及1.6米多通道测光巡天望远镜的项目进展，云南天文台王德清老师介绍了云南天文台丽江观测站的整体概况和丽江2.4米光学望远镜。

 

        4月17日晚，同学们分别在丽江2.4米光学望远镜与云南大学50公分望远镜阵列进行了实习观测。在2.4米望远镜观测室，云南大学中国西南天文研究所陈丙秋老师指导学生如何利用2.4米望远镜YFOSC设备拍摄天体的测光图像以及狭缝光谱；在50公分测光望远镜阵列观测室，同学们亲自动手，在多个波段对目标天体进行同步跟踪曝光，获得了同一目标天体在不同波段的观测图像，并记录了观测日志。

        此次参观活动增进了同学们对目前天文观测现状和云南大学正在进行的望远镜项目的了解，进一步激发了其对天文学研究的兴趣。

    On April 17 and 18, 2021, the graduate students from SWIFAR visited Lijiang Observatory of Yunnan Observatories (YNO), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Lijiang Observatory locates at Gaomeigu, which is about 40 kilometers away from Lijiang City with an altitude of 3200 m. It is one of the best observational sites in China with clear weather and good seeing conditions. The Yunnan University 1.6 m Multi-Channel Photometric Survey Telescope (Mephisto) and 50 cm Photometric Telescope Array are all located there.

    In the afternoon of April 17, Dr. Xiangkun Liu from SWIFAR introduced the Mephisto and 50cm Photometric Telescope Array to the students, followed by Dr. Deqing Wang from YNO, who presented a general introduction about the Observatory and particularly about 2.4m Optical Telescope. In the night of April 17, the students conducted observations under the guidance of Dr. Bingqiu Chen from SWIFAR with YFOSC on 2.4m Telescope and with Yunnan University 50 cm Telescope Array.

    This visit has enhanced the students' understanding about astronomical observations and the ongoing projects of Yunnan University, and stimulated further their interests toward astronomical research.
