“引力与等离子体”学术研讨会召开

Gravity meets Plasma workshop held at SWIFAR

2019年8月19-22日，“引力与等离子体”学术研讨会在云南大学天文楼报告厅举行。来自北京大学、上海交通大学、云南大学、北京师范大学、中国科学院国家天文台、紫金山天文台、上海天文台和新疆天文台、台湾科学研究院、加拿大理论天体物理研究所、马普天体物理研究所、博洛尼亚天文台、海德堡大学、曼丽天体物理研究所、马赛大学等国内外高校和科研机构的50余位学者参加了讨论会。云南大学中国西南天文研究所所长刘晓为教授致欢迎辞。

会议期间，来自引力透镜、等离子体星际介质、脉冲星、射电暴等领域的学者介绍了各自相关研究方向和最新的研究成果。在此基础上，与会学者进行了深入的讨论，建立了新的合作关系，对促进引力透镜和等离子体研究领域的结合起到了积极的推动作用。

 

   

       

On August 19-22, 2019, the workshop of Gravity meets Plasma was held in the auditorium of the Astronomy Building, Yunnan University. Over 50 researchers from Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Yunnan University, Beijing Normal University, National Astronomical Observatories of China, Purple Mountain Observatory, Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, and Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academia Sinica, Canadian Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics, Max-Planck Institute for Astrophysics, INAF-Bologna Observatory, Heidelberg University，Manly Astrophysics and Marseilles University et al. participated the workshop. Prof. Xiaowei Liu, Director of South-Western Institute for Astronomical Research, gave an opening speech.

During the workshop, experts specialized in gravitational lensing, plasma, pulsar and interstellar medium exchanged their latest research results, engaged in in-depth discussions and presented their visions of future gravitational lensing and plasma lensing. The workshop enhances the communications between the researchers in the two fields, and helps promote further collaborations amongst the participants.
