刘晓为教授担任首席科学家的国家“973计划”项目总结会在京召开

云南大学中国西南天文研究所刘晓为教授担任首席科学家的国家重点基础研究计划（“973计划”）项目“基于LAMOST大科学装置的银河系研究及多波段天体证认”到今年8月实施期满。为了全面总结项目实施近5年来的研究工作和取得的成绩，做好迎接课题和项目结题验收的准备，首席科学家特召集项目参与人员举行总结会议。

总结会于5月19-22日在北京怀柔中科院大学雁栖湖校区召开，中科院国家天文台副台长薛随建、中科院前沿科学与教育局数理化学处副处长毛羽丰等嘉宾，科技部“973计划”项目咨询专家黄珹研究员、蔡勖教授、张新民研究员，本项目组专家周又元院士、赵刚研究员，项目特邀专家胡景耀研究员、李宗伟教授、高煜研究员、王力帆研究员，以及参与项目研究的人员近100人参加了会议。

总结会上，本项目包含的5个课题组以及跨课题工作组组长分别就本课题近5年来的研究工作进行了总结汇报，并和与会人员进行了交流讨论。课题研究的参与人员也分别就各自的工作和成果作了汇报，内容涵盖以下5个方面：（1）参数测量和样本构建；（2）银盘结构和化学动力学性质；（3）银河系物质分布与银晕结构；（4）星际介质；（5）特殊天体。

 总结会期间还召开了专家会议，课题组长及参会专家出席。专家们对本项目的组织实施以及取得的研究进展和成果给予了高度评价，并对本项目的研究特色进行了肯定。截至目前，在本项目支持下已经发表的论文超过120篇（本项目为论文的第一或第二致谢）。

本次总结会的顺利召开为项目的结题验收工作奠定了良好基础。

The project "Galactic studies and multi-waveband object identification with the LAMOST", a National Key Basic Research Program of China (973 project) led by Prof. Xiaowei Liu of SWIFAR, Yunnan University, will reach its closure in August, 2018. To have a comprehensive review of the achievements over the past five years, and get ready for the final evaluation by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, a project summary conference was held on May 19-22 in YanXiHu campus of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. About 100 participants, including project scientists and their postdocs and students, and officials from NAOC and CAS and members of the consulting committee joined the conference.

During the conference, PIs of the six research groups of the project reported their research progress, including data products and basic stellar parameter measurements, dynamical and chemical studies of the Milky Way (MW) galaxy, the mass distribution and the halo structure of MW, interstellar medium and multi-waveband objects of special interest. The studies have resulted in over 120 publications. These achievements were highly appreciated by the consulting committee members.
