Abstract:
Precision weak lensing measurement can be achieved by methods other than cosmic shear. Over the past decade some of these methods such as CMB lensing have become sophisticated, so will be the cosmic magnification based methods in the coming decade. I will briefly introduce these methods. I will then present our recent (theoretical) progresses in weak lensing reconstruction by counting galaxies. Over the next decade we will precisely map the weak lensing sky in different ways, improve the overall S/N, cross-check/mitigate potential systematic errors, and explore new physics.
