Abstract:
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are luminous, dispersed millisecond-duration radio bursts whose origin is poorly known. The FRB from a Galactic magnetar indicates that some FRBs can originate from isolated magnetars. Recent observations suggest that some repeating FRBs may reside in binary systems, even though conclusive evidence remains elusive. In this talk, I will summarize the recent progresses on repeating FRBs, and present our recents works on repeating FRBs, especially the detection of a ~26-day periodicity in a FRB source. I will discuss the implications of our results and the binary scenario for active repeating FRBs.
